MultiMuse 1.14.0
Today's update is a Quality of Life update, meant to clean up ballooned command trees, and create a better onboarding experiance for both servers and users. You can find the full patchnotes below!
Join welcome
When you add MultiMuse , a short welcome posts in the system channel if the bot can talk there, otherwise another sendable text channel. The same note DMs the person who added it, or the server owner if Discord doesn’t show who clicked. It points at /server setup so staff can set the server tag from Discord, with an Open dashboard link for the same work on the web.
Server setup
/server setup is the one staff panel now. Four sections: Membership, Posting, Tracking, and Channels. Membership is the server tag plus Filter lists — the muse dropdown is gone; members still add this server on a muse with /muse edit → Add to this server. Tracker post channel (what /track channel used to set) lives under Tracking. Activity log and bump channel stay under Channels. Run it again anytime.
Muse help
/muse help home is a first-time walk, not a command dump: First muse → Tracking → Server tags → Dashboard. Jump any step, skip what you already know, go back when you want. Commands is a side page with live slash lists. Create a muse opens the same wizard as /muse add (name, trigger, Save muse).
What changed
Command diet
• /server setup is the one staff panel. Gone from Discord: /server defaulttag, filtercards, sceneexport, headers, footers, reactiontracker, trackingdefault, logging, bumpchannel, musefeed, and /track channel.
• /settings is one personal panel (privacy, card style, tracking DMs, Tupper import/export, delete-all). Gone: /settings privacy · import · export · delete, and /track dms.
• /muse aliases lists and manages faces. /muse wrappers lists and assigns header/footer presets. Gone: /muse aliases list · manage, /muse header, /muse footer, /muse wrappers manage.
• /muse transfer still sends ownership; Cancel transfer stays clickable. Skip the recipient to cancel from the command (/muse transfer_cancel is gone).
• /api revoke permanently removes a key (/api delete is gone). /track repair is gone — use /track clear for deleted threads.
• Overlay/dashboard instead of extra / commands: /feed open; /matchfinder open · publish · unpublish · matches; /storyline open · post (timeline is now open). Gone: /feed setup · list, /matchfinder setup · rerun · mine, /muse bulk, /dice personal, /track archive.
• /narrator auto — auto-proxy as this server’s narrator in this channel.
Setup and help
• /muse help catalog includes /nickname and /bump; /qol is gone.
• /settings Open dashboard goes to the Settings page.
Language
• Player copy says server tag for membership (a muse can belong to more than one server). Setting a tag turns Filter lists on by default. Disabling Filter lists disables it across other integrations like stagehand as well.
• Slash descriptions say muses, not proxies.
If old names still show in /, restart Discord (Ctrl+R on desktop) after the bot update.
Public API (tags)
Listing and filtering muses by server membership now treats the muse tags CSV as membership: a muse belongs here when that list contains the server’s default tag.
Old query params still work: tag, default_tag, and guild_id are accepted alongside tags. Muse payloads still include CSV tags and a scalar tag. Clients using the old names keep working.
