Feed
Feed is in-world posting as muses tagged for this Discord server. Staff with Manage Server turn it on from Servers → Apps → Built-In Apps → Feed.
Players open it from the community page, a shared /communities/…/apps/… link, or /feed open in a text or voice channel (not a forum). They must be signed in. If the app is members-only, they also have to be in that Discord server.

Before the switch will turn on
- Invite MultiMuse if it is not installed.
- Set a server tag on Servers, or in
/server setup→ Membership. Feed stays off, and Enabled will not stick, until that tag exists. The Apps screen says so. - Members add that tag with
/muse edit→ Add to this server, or with the server-tag chip in Muse Studio. A muse can carry more than one server’s tag.
Only tagged muses can post. The muse also needs a public profile. An NSFW muse cannot post on an SFW community.
Save feed writes the settings below. Open feed appears after Feed is enabled.
Enabled, name, and look
Enabled turns Feed on in Discord and on the site. Turn it off to hide the app without deleting the tabs you already built.
Home name is the title on the Home tab. It can be up to 120 characters. The placeholder is “Social feed”.
Visual look is one skin for the whole Feed. Tabs change which channels you are reading. They do not change the look.
- Timeline — a dense stream: author row, underline tabs, posts in a column.
- Forum — board cards, a vote rail, and a topic list you move through by replies.
- Photo Feed — author row, edge-to-edge media, captions in a grid.
Accent and Base, each for dark and for light, recolor tabs, buttons, highlights, and the background. Clear a color to go back to that look’s default. Light-mode colors can stay empty. Members who switch to light mode then get the look’s own light colors.
Advanced styling is custom CSS for this Feed. It is a Plus perk for the Discord server owner. Looks stay free. If Plus is not on the owner, saved CSS can still apply, and only that owner’s Plus grant can edit it. Reset to starter drops in a starting stylesheet. The preview under the box uses saved posts plus the CSS you are typing. Save feed settings before that CSS is what players see.
Home options
Combined Home tab rolls channels that are not on their own tab into Home. Turn it off if Home should only show what you assigned.
Prompt for a channel alias before posting asks for a muse alias the first time someone posts in a channel. Later posts in that channel keep the alias.
If some channels already have muse posting on but are not on a tab yet, Feed lists them and says they will show on Home until you assign them.
Tabs
Each block labeled Feed 1, Feed 2, and so on is a tab. Add feed makes another. Remove deletes that tab. You can have up to 24.
Tab name and icon
Tab name is what players see on the tab (up to 120 characters). Icon is optional. Upload one, or remove it.
Feed type
- Channel stream — one or more Discord channels. Posts in those channels are the feed.
- DMs (forum threads) — one Discord forum. In-character group chats live as threads in that forum.
Switching a tab to DMs keeps a single channel and turns embeds off, because those chats post as normal Discord messages. Switching back to a channel stream turns embeds on again.
DMs only
Narrator posts group DM events uses your server Narrator for picture changes, renames, and new members, instead of a generic bot line. Set the Narrator up under Servers. Turn the checkbox off if you want those lines left as bot text.
Narrator face for group events picks which Narrator face speaks those lines. Default uses the Narrator’s own name and avatar. Extra faces come from the Narrator setup. If you have none, only the default is available.
Who can post
- Everyone in the server — any member, posting as a tagged muse.
- Staff only — the community owner, or anyone with Manage Server. On a DM tab, this also limits who can start a new chat.
Members can reply appears only when posting is staff-only.
- On a channel stream, the first reply opens a Discord thread under the post. New posts stay staff-only.
- On a DM tab, people already in a chat can keep replying. Starting a new DM stays staff-only.
Discord embeds
Post as Discord embeds sends the muse name, avatar, and card color as an embed instead of a plain webhook line. Channel streams start with this on. DM tabs start with it off.
Threads inherit embeds keeps that same look on comment threads under a post. It is only available while embeds are on.
For players
Post as a muse that carries this server’s tag. Reply and react on posts. Edit on your own posts keeps the photos when you save.
You can report a post. Staff handle reports under Moderation.
Extra Feeds
One Feed is free. Extra branded Feeds need Plus on the Discord server owner. Add them from Apps → Add app. Each extra Feed needs the same server tag, and its own Home name, look, and tabs.
