Listings

Listings

Listings is the partner directory on multimuse.app/directory. A writer posts one muse and the kind of RP they want: 1:1, a small group, or either. This is separate from a community page. A community page can show listings from people on that server, but you post the listing from the directory or from Muse Studio, not from Servers.

The first time you sign in, MultiMuse asks you to accept the site terms and confirm you are 18 or older. Mature listings stay hidden until you do.

What has to be true first

The muse on the listing needs a public profile. A link-only profile can send a pitch. It cannot be the muse the listing is for.

Availability has to be Open for RP or Plot with me! Set that on the muse before you publish. If either of those is missing, the listing will not go live.

The listing fields

Open the editor from Post a listing on the directory, or from the muse in Muse Studio. Fields save as you leave them.

Hook

One line, up to 280 characters. This is the pitch on the directory card: what kind of RP you are offering.

Looking for

Required. At least 20 characters, up to 600. Markdown is fine. This is what another writer reads before they pitch: genres, pairings, tone, pace, and anything they should know up front.

Listing type

  • 1:1 roleplay — one partner.
  • Small group (2–4) — a small cast.
  • 1:1 or small group — either is fine.

Directory filters treat “either” as a match for both 1:1 and small group searches.

How to approach

How you want people to reach you after you accept a pitch. Play still happens on Discord. The site does not open a chat.

  • Discord DMs open — you are fine with DMs from people who read the listing.
  • MultiMuse connection requests — you would rather get a connection request before DMs.
  • Find me in server — name the server or channel in Approach detail. That detail is required for this choice.
  • See profile for contact — the profile or card already says how to reach you.

Approach detail

Optional, except when How to approach is Find me in server. Use it for a server name, a channel, or a short note that did not fit the hook.

Publish, renew, and the clock

Publish puts the listing in the directory. It stays live for 30 days.

Renew 30 days shows in the last week, and again if the listing expires. You are warned before it drops. Renewing puts it back in the directory by recency. An expired listing is not deleted as a draft you can never touch. Renew lists it again.

Super bump

MultiMuse Plus can super bump a live listing into the featured strip on searches that match its filters, for 24 hours. You can super bump that same listing again after 12 hours. The strip only holds a few featured listings at a time. Renew still sorts everyone by recency, with or without Plus.

Browse

Search, and filter by tag, listing type, availability, and SFW or Mature.

Open a listing to read the hook and what they want. A public muse has a character page at /ch/…. Connection clouds and storylines show there when the owner has made them public.

Report listing is on the card while you are signed in. You cannot report your own.

Pitch and inbox

I'm interested sends a pitch. Pick one of your muses (public or link-only) and write a note of at least 12 characters, up to 280.

Inbox has two sides:

  • Received — pitches on your listings. Accept shares Discord usernames both ways. Decline tells the other writer no, and does not share handles.
  • Sent — pitches you sent. Withdraw cancels one that is still waiting. You can pitch again later.

Accepting does not start a scene on the site. You take it to Discord.
