Porting from Tupper to MultiMuse is easy peasy! First, log in to the Tupperbox web portal https://Tupperbox.app/ , you may need to sync it with your discord account on the upper right. When you’re logged in, click on Dashboard at the top:
Click on Utilities:
Then Import/Export:
Click on Export to JSON (you don’t have to know what this means, it’s fine):
Select the tuppers you want to migrate. If you have them in their own category, you can uncheck Everything at the top, then just check the category, or you can use the arrow on the left to expand the category and manually check the ones you want to move. When you’ve selected the ones you want, click Finish Selection:
Your file will download. Take note of where it saved and open the folder that contains the new tuppers.json file.
Go to a channel where you can configure a bot. It will post things to the channel, so make sure you don’t spam your friends! Click on the Apps button on the far right at the bottom of the text bar, then click on MultiMuse. You may have to click View More to find it.
Scroll down the list until you see “settings import” and click that:
Drag the tuppers.json file into the file box, click into the text box and hit enter:
You should see this message. Note, if you’ve made any muses in MultiMuse already, you may need to tell it to Overwrite with the additional options, but for your first time, this should work fine:
Next, open the MultiMuse command list in the bots channel like you did above. This time, select “muse edit” then just hit enter in the text bar:
Use the drop down menu to select which character you’re editing. First thing to do is click the “Add server default” button:
Next, click Edit Basics. This will allow you to fill out the character card information (cards are covered in a different guide). For now, you need only edit the Quote (if you want to) and the Tags. Check with your RP server to see if they want anything specific in these fields. It should look something like this:
Click Submit. Next click “Notes & Privacy”.
In Notes, add any notes you’d like! Check with your server to see if there’s anything specific they’d like there. You can also optionally add your character’s birthday if it didn't come over from Tupper!
Click “Submit”. Then, back in the channel, click “Save muse” and you’re all done!

Then repeat the last few steps for each character. Then you’re all set! Just use MultiMuse the same as you’ve been using Tupperbox! If you’re using the same trigger starters, you need to go back into Tupperbox and change them slightly, otherwise you’ll get double posts. Or just delete them from Tupperbox altogether! MultiMuse is totally better anyway in this guide’s totally unbiased opinion.
